How to Become a Rescue Diver
Learn to think like a rescue diver through independent study at home and in-water practice with an instructor. You will train on essential rescue skills before demonstrating your ability to apply them effectively in open water.

The in-water training sessions are genuinely fun. You will practice handling situations such as leg cramps or assisting a tired diver through realistic scenarios and role-playing with your instructor and other students.
- Prerequisites: Adventure Diver / Junior Adventure Diver (or equivalent) with underwater navigation
- EFR Primary & Secondary Care: Completed within the last 24 months
- Total training time: 4–7 days
- Minimum age: 12 years old
